Library Media Center
Welcome Wolfpack Readers!
The EEMS Media Center exists to support the academic and extra-academic information needs of our students and staffulty. We support classroom instruction, supply instruction in information science, and make materials of interest available to our school members.
Our goal is to provide welcoming, supportive environment for students, staffulty and the community. We strive to promote all levels of literacy through collaboration, research and critical thinking which will ultimately equip students with the skills needed to succeed in high school and beyond.

Media Center Access
Monday - Friday
8:15 am to 3:30 pm
Students have access to the media center before school starts at 8:30 a.m. Students can also access the media center during a class period with a written pass from the teacher.
Students can visit the media center during their courtyard with a SmartPass generated by the media center staff. Students must sign up for this pass between 8:15 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Courtyard passes are limited to 25 students.
Book Care
Students are responsible for taking care of materials checked out to them. We understand that accidents do happen. Please notify the media center if a book is damaged. Please do not try to mend it at home.
Materials
Students may check out two books at a time for ten school days. Books currently checked out can be renewed as needed (provided the book is not on hold for another student). Books can be returned to one of the two book return slots in the media center.
Late fines are not accessed for overdue materials; however, check-out privileges may be limited or stopped if a student does not return materials. Fines are assessed (replacement value of the material) for books that are lost or severely damaged. Materials not returned by the end of the school year will be assessed a replacement fine. The fine will be voided once the materials are returned to the media center.
